X3? What a piece of junk. The pure nerd in me has to ask why a character with godlike powers “Phoenix” spends a week camping in the woods with mutants like Porcupine Boy?
Bad story, terrible directing, hell, even the editing was rotten.
You know you have a visionary at the wheel when the best he can come up with for a character who is the master of magnetism, is to chuck cars around for 90 minutes.
It’s a real shame that (suddenly) impatient FOX had to destroy a great franchise, rather than wait for a good script and a decent director.
