Congratulations Ben and Ben’s baby’s mama. I was actually getting in touch to see if you are “commissionable” for a comic based on a song, and saw the baby pic. Good job!
This is wonderful news. She’s beautiful! Between the release of MIDNIGHT SUN and the “release” of Marion, you’ll be remembering the end of 2007 for a while, Ben…
I just got back from our Christmas travels, but I’ll be in touch more soon.
“Bryan L. Fordham said,
Congrats! We’re all awaiting more pics…”
Thanks! Believe it or not, that’s one of maybe three pictures we’ve taken so far. We’re not big picture takers, but our relatives seem to be making up for that big time.

Congrats Ben and family! What a cutie!!!”
I think she’s pretty cute… but I’m not the most objective one to ask I guess. Anyway, thanks!… and are you really in Pennsylvania now? When did that happen?

Heya, DK…. I’m afraid I’m not ‘commissionable’ for anything in the near-term other than perhaps fatigue, but depending on your schedule, gimme a shout in a few months when things have settled down and lemme know what you’re after.
My husband, Josh, does stand-up, so we moved to the Poconos in July so he could sell himself in NYC. He’s more on the darker side and not as well received in the South- no cursing although I still wouldn’t recommend him to the kiddies. =)
She sure does look cuter than your average red, squishy-faced, chicken-legged newborn. Although I haven’t seen her legs, so maybe I shouldn’t comment. Congratulations and hope mama is resting up and feeling good … and you too!
Thanks for all the congrats! I was a bit mystified by the volume of responses until I realized that, in addition to some friends and family that occasionally check my site to see what I”m up to, this post had been linked to by comics news sites, including Blog@Newsarama, Journalista!, and the SLG Newsblog. Marion is getting a full-on comics geek welcome… and to further cement that, today we took her on her first outing (other than the pediatrician): a trip to Ssalefish, the local comics shop in Winston-Salem. You gotta bring em up right, you know…
I just hosted a local Babies N Brunch in DC with some local folks and guess who decided to drop by…
Robin Taylor! Small world, eh? She let me know about your news.
Congratulations to you and your lovely wife on the birth of the beautiful Marion. I look forward to exploring your site and learning all about what’s been up in your world.

Congrats, Ben! That’s great news!
… Wait a second: she’s a little girl named Keith?
You know that it’s too late for Johnny Cash to write a sequel to “A Boy Named Sue,” don’t you?
Actually, I hope she goes by Keith. That’d be really cool.
Congratulation! She’ll be drawing comics in no time. Don’t let her! Tell her Pathologists have more fun.

Good luck getting some sleep!

Belated but hearty congratulations!
