I haven’t posted any pics of the “big dig” downstairs renovation project, so here goes. Since last update crown molding has gone up, baseboard trim is up, doors have been hung (although some have since been removed), and painting is well underway. I did this in my sketchbook a couple of nights ago. I think it’s inspired partly by that bearded guy that works in the Grand Central hotel in the show Deadwood and partly by the very similar looking character, Skinny, in James Sturm’s book Hundreds of Feet Below Daylight.
