SLG + Disney

It seems that my sometime publisher Slave Labor Graphics has got some sort of deal going now with Disney and will be publishing four books featuring Disney properties. My invitation to work on this project no doubt got lost in the mail (Haw! Haw! Haw!), but I’m sure this is a “look” for the Tron book they’d really dig:

Actually, it sounds like Landry Walker might be writing the upcoming Tron book, which could be really cool…

Here’s page 4 of the Boxing Bucket couch comic. I thought I had posted this already, but I guess not…

Crackhouse Studio: Finished?

I hesitate to use the word “finished,” since I’ve still got to reglaze four window sash and either build, or have built, some custom cabinets and a work table…but, as said (with likely the same degree of eventual veracity) by our venerable commander in chief, I’m declaring major combat operations over in the Crackhouse Studio. Here are a few pictures of the results, plus a filmstrip “before and after” kinda-thing.

Adodo

Luca, one of the editors of Adodo, the Italian literary magazine to which I contributed a one page cartoon illustration, let me know that they now have a website: http://www.adodo.it. He also mentioned that the issue featuring my piece will also include contributions from James Kochalka, Derf, William Schaff, Peter Kuper, Alberto Corradi, Carrie McNinch, Paul Hornschemeier, Hugo Dreville and others. Apparently the book is complete and coming out in about two weeks. I’m looking forward to checking it out—of course,

until I learn Italian I’ll have to make due with enjoying just the artwork.
