(Crack)House Update
I haven’t posted any pics of the “big dig” downstairs renovation project, so here goes. Since last update crown molding has gone up, baseboard trim is up, doors have been hung (although some have since been removed), and painting is well underway. Starting from the front of the house:
Living room/foyer. Note awesome custom shelf on the left. These carpenters are old school.

Joey Weiser’s The Ride home

His work The Ride Home is discussed here as a webcomic—and it is indeed being serialized online—but, I think the eventual vision for this work is for it to be published in graphic novel format.

Sketchbook Image
I did this in my sketchbook a couple of nights ago. I think it’s inspired partly by that bearded guy that works in the Grand Central hotel in the show Deadwood and partly by the very similar looking character, Skinny, in James Sturm’s book Hundreds of Feet Below Daylight.
