My work on Ameila has been pretty much on hold this week other than working my way through the Canadian public library system trying to track down some much-needed photo reference. I’m thinking that my contribution to the dinosaur/caveman-themed Wide Awake Press Free Comic Book Day comic (Piltdown is the name of the book) is going to require a paleontologist “guide” who will introduce three separate one-page stories. I’m a terrible caricaturist, (and terrible at likenesses in general, actually) but that doesn’t stop me from trying, especially if I’m stuck with a baby in my lap and the only thing in arm’s reach is a TIME Magazine.
