Alphabots cranks up today! I’m not an admin this go round nor will I probably do a complete alphabet, but I have doodled up a few ‘bots for the introductory letters. Here’s the first one:

I’m not sure exactly why, but last week I got a hankering to read some old Alien Legion comics. I really loved that series as a kid and I was actually surprised at how well it holds up. Just for fun, I drew some of the characters from the first issue. (I posted the original for sale in my store as well–link under the pic.)

For some reason, I’m back on a musician-drawing kick in my sketchbook. Here’re two drawings I did recently. They were all originally brush pen or brush/India ink, then scanned and colored in Photoshop.

Here’s an illustration I did for the Aquarium Drunkard blog of the band Tashaki Miyaki. They’re a very cool band–they remind me a bit of maybe The Jesus and Mary Chain or Mazzy Star. I particularly dug the cover they there of Unsatisfied by The Replacements.
