Goggles & Gloves: Old Skool
I’ve still got three pages (I think) to go on the current “Goggles & Gloves” story I’m working on—written by Steve Ahlquist– but I’ve already begun ruminating on the next one, written by Chris Reilly. This next story takes place when the main character, Ray, is a lot older than in the first one and here’s a quick sketch I did of my aging Ray. I guess I should be finishing the first story before starting on the second one..but you know, “Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing.” I’m imagining that by this point Ray has gone wireless with the goggles and gloves technology—in other words, I’m getting tired of drawing all those %#$@(@-ing cables!

Oh, well…I guess I’ll have to miss out on the “Gays in Comics: Infinite Pride” panel, which is scheduled concurrently.

The word on the street (well, on geeky comics message boards anyway) is that Tenacious D will be performing at the San Diego Comicon this year…
