Interview on WS NPR
If’n you’re a local Triad person, and you have any interest in my ramblings, be sure to check out tomorrow’s installment of WFDD‘s program Voices & Viewpoints hosted by Denise Franklin. The interview I did at the station earlier this week will air tomorrow, Friday the 27th, at 9:30 am and again at 6:00pm.

MST3K Kinda Sorta Returns
Check out Mike Nelson’s RiffTrax site. It’s an interesting venture: You buy the “commentary” track as an MP3 (or whatever) of Mike riffing on a particular movie MST3K-style, but then you’re responsible for actually getting the movie itself. You then get them both cued up, start the audio, then start the movie when Mike says Go.
I dunno,,,, Maybe if it were Joel!

Just Coincidence?
These two Foxtrot strips were published a few weeks apart, but I wonder if they’re related—and indicative of some real life response to the Sunday strip from the Bill Keane/Family Circus empire. (Especially possible, given the differing lead times cartoonists have to adhere to for daily vs. Sunday strips.)
