{"id":4781,"date":"2013-06-27T17:17:02","date_gmt":"2013-06-27T21:17:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.benzilla.com\/?p=4781"},"modified":"2013-06-27T17:17:02","modified_gmt":"2013-06-27T21:17:02","slug":"three-recent-drawings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.benzilla.com\/?p=4781","title":{"rendered":"Three Recent Drawings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just for fun (and for practice) I scanned three drawings from my sketchbook and inked them in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jdoqocy.com\/click-7183471-11369201\" target=\"_blank\">Digital Manga Studio<\/a>. \u00a0I&#8217;m in the process of transitioning my coloring to DMS as well, but for the sake of expediency though, I wound up coloring these particular images in Photoshop. I&#8217;m not 100% sold on how I&#8217;ve used these textures here, but I feel like I really need to start exploring coloring looks and techniques beyond my standard flat color style I use with <em>Oyster War<\/em>.
