For the record, here is the initial state of the affected areas.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the living room as it appears.  Note torn out ceiling.  It&#8217;s been like that for a while&#8211;ever since some serious structural work had to be done for the bathroom dirctly above.  To the left side of this picture will soon appear a new hallway which will route all the way to the new master bedroom at the back of the house.  Also added will be a half-bath&#8230;and a ceiling.  Note also goofy dog, Sheila (on right), sleeping <em>on<\/em> rather than <em>in<\/em> her crate\/tent\/hut thing.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.benzilla.com\/upload_images\/l_room.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.benzilla.com\/upload_images\/_l_room.jpg\" title=\"Living Room\" alt=\"Living Room\" width=\"214\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><br \/><span style=\"font-size:10px\">(Click for larger image)<\/span><\/div>\n<p>This is the dining room.  This is pretty much going to stay the same configuration-wise, just new ceiling, paint, electrical, etc.  Only the necessities remain behind: a table, booze, and stereo.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.benzilla.com\/upload_images\/d_room.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.benzilla.com\/upload_images\/_d_room.jpg\" title=\"Dining Room\" alt=\"Dining Room\" width=\"166\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><br \/><span style=\"font-size:10px\">(Click for larger image)<\/span><\/div>\n<p>This is a weird &#8220;mystery room&#8221; beneath the stairwell that used to be my studio.  It will become a master bathroom, and the current bathroom beyond will become a walk-in closet&#8230;and the room beyond <em>that<\/em> that you can see a little bit of will be the master bedroom.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.benzilla.com\/upload_images\/mystery_room.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.benzilla.com\/upload_images\/_mystery_room.jpg\" title=\"Mystery Room\" alt=\"Mystery Room\" width=\"250\" height=\"209\" \/><\/a><br \/><span style=\"font-size:10px\">(Click for larger image)<\/span><\/div>\n<p>Finally, this room used to be Sheila&#8217;s room, but will become our master bedroom.
