They are:<\/p>\n<p>   1. Santa Claus<br \/>\n   2. Oliver &#8220;Daddy&#8221; Warbucks<br \/>\n   3. Richie Rich<br \/>\n   4. Lex Luthor<br \/>\n   5. C. Montgomery Burns<br \/>\n   6. Scrooge McDuck<br \/>\n   7. Jed Clampett<br \/>\n   8. Bruce Wayne<br \/>\n   9. Thurston Howell III<br \/>\n  10. Willy Wonka<br \/>\n  11. Arthur Bach<br \/>\n  12. Ebenezer Scrooge<br \/>\n  13. Lara Croft<br \/>\n  14. Cruella De Vil<br \/>\n  15. Lucius Malfoy<\/p>\n<p>Says one astute <a href=\"http:\/\/slashdot.org\">slasdot<\/a> reader, &#8220;Forbes estimate of McDuck&#8217;s wealth is too low. Assuming his money bin is a 100 foot cube full of gold coins, the value is well in excess of $100 billion.&#8221;  But I guess you&#8217;d have to subtract from the 100 feet the displacement of Scrooge&#8217;s body, since he&#8217;s known to enjoy &#8220;swimming&#8221; in his tower of coins.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Forbes Magazine has published a list of its 15 wealthiest fictional characters, along with an explanatory biography of each.
