Crumb <strong>MOCKS<\/strong> book of Genesis&#8221;?!\u00a0 I&#8217;m only about half-way through this book right now, but I&#8217;ve yet to encounter any &#8220;mocking.&#8221;\u00a0 Yeah, sure, there&#8217;s a lot of brutal fighting, sexual violence, etc. but such is the Old Testament.\u00a0 I think the only way you could read this word-for-word illustrated version of <em>Genesis<\/em> and think there was any &#8220;mocking&#8221; going on would be if you&#8217;d not actually ever <strong>read<\/strong> <em>Genesis (<\/em>which&#8211;given that it&#8217;s FOX News&#8211;may actually be the case here).<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a good thing Crumb didn&#8217;t tackle any of the books of the New Testament, what with all the &#8220;Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me&#8221; (Matthew 24:40) and &#8220;a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven&#8221; (Matthew 19:23) stuff.\u00a0 OMG SOCIALISM!!!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;R.
