This movie does <strong>not<\/strong> feature:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gunfights<\/li>\n<li>Explosions<\/li>\n<li>A hip-hop artist struggling to hit the big time<\/li>\n<li>An invasion by aliens<\/li>\n<li>Lindsay Lohan<\/li>\n<li>Custom import cars with those &#8220;erector set&#8221; spoilers<\/li>\n<li>The Rock<\/li>\n<li>A light sabre battle<\/li>\n<li>CGI effects<\/li>\n<li>A soundtrack featuring Coldplay and Blink 182<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is, however, an amazing film featuring beautiful scenery and cinimatography, shot entirely on site in Antartica&#8212;in the winter no less.   It&#8217;s (obviously) all about penguins, and the amazing life cycle of these bizarre and amazing creatures requires none of the above elements to make this film one of the best stories I&#8217;ve seen in the theater in a while. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(Click for larger image) I just returned from seeing March of the Penguins, a French documentary about Emperor Penguins, with English narration by Morgan Freeman.
