{"id":1494,"date":"2009-04-21T22:14:03","date_gmt":"2009-04-22T02:14:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.benzilla.com\/?p=1494"},"modified":"2009-04-21T22:14:03","modified_gmt":"2009-04-22T02:14:03","slug":"amelia-aerial-panel-final-image-amela-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.benzilla.com\/?p=1494","title":{"rendered":"Amelia Aerial Panel &#8211; Final Image, Amela Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"42_43_spread_working\" href=\"http:\/\/www.benzilla.com\/uploads\/2009\/04\/42_43_spread_working.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment wp-att-1495 centered\" src=\"http:\/\/www.benzilla.com\/uploads\/2009\/04\/42_43_spread_working.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"42_43_spread_working\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Well, for any of you (three or so) folks following along at home, there it is: the final image that&#8217;s come of my various posts on this once-panel now-spread.<\/p>\n<p><em>Amelia <\/em>is just about wrapped up now.\u00a0 I&#8217;m anticipating sending off completed files tomorrow; although, I may have to revisit some of my gray layer work.\u00a0 This is the first time I&#8217;ve done a &#8220;duotone&#8221; book that&#8217;s actually going to be printed on two separate Pantone plates, so there&#8217;re a lot of subtle nuances to getting the gray underlayer just right that are new to me.\u00a0 It&#8217;s actually more akin to setting up a two color screen print than prepping files for printing as I&#8217;ve done it in the past.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m dying to post some other pages from the book, but I think I&#8217;ll hold off a bit.\u00a0 With the other Hyperion\/CCS books, there&#8217;ve been websites set up for the books with sample pages, so I&#8217;ll wait until I know if there&#8217;re specific pages set up as previews and then post those here as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, for any of you (three or so) folks following along at home, there it is: the final image that&#8217;s come of my various posts on this once-panel now-spread.
